Stay for the Cakewalk!
A traditional Cakewalk will be the ice breaker to start each section of concert performers.
The cakewalk is like musical chairs and when the music stops if your number is called you will come forward to choose your cake and mini fake cake from the ticket bowl. You will receive a ticket when you bring your cake to share or you can purchase a ticket for $10 to walk in the cakewalk. If you have multiple family members in the cakewalk, a ticket from a cake or purchase representing each member is encouraged so that no one is left out of the cake exchange.Cakes include: mini cakes, cupcakes in box, Boston cream pies, a group of cake pops, and regular cakes. All cakes must come already boxed and cannot be eaten during the Ragtime Carnival in the library areas. There will be novelty fake cakes provided by student artwork that go with each regular cake.
