Dr. Hodge has inspired many young composers and pianists including winners of an international composition competition. Her musical journey began at the age of three with public performances at age 4. She was a successful competitor in her youth, and achieved a Bachelor of Music (BM) and a Master of Music(MM) while also a ThD in Theology.She has served on the piano faculty at UNLV and CCSN. Notably, she established the Haywood Conservatory of Piano, nurturing numerous students who were successful in local, regional andf international piano and composition competitions.She also founded the Young Musician's Festival.
